Male Track
Haran Dunderdale, Sr., Bradley (Grantham, England)
In his first indoor meet in two years, the 2017 Missouri Valley mile champion Haran Dunderdale finished first in the event at the Gladstein Invitational at Indiana University on Friday. The senior ran a time of 4:05.35, just missing his PR by two tenths of a second. His time is the best in the Valley this season — more than four seconds ahead of the best non-Bradley runner — and ranks 25th nationally.

Male Field
Adam Kessler, Sr., Southern Illinois (Lansing, Ill.)
Adam Kessler won the shot put with a toss of 59’-2.25” (18.04m) at the John Gartland Invitational, hosted by Indiana State. Kessler followed that up by setting a personal-best in the weight throw at 60’-6” (18.41m) to finish second. He holds steady at No. 10 in the weight throw on the NCAA performance list with his mark from the Jim Green Invitational.

Female Track
Rachel Hickey, Fr., Illinois State (Peru, Ill.)
Racing in the 1,000-meter for the first time of her collegiate career at Saturday’s Notre Dame Invitational, freshman Hickey broke the Illinois State school record, crossing the finish line in 2:49.01 to finish third. With her time, Hickey became the first Redbird woman to go sub-2:50 in the event, surpassing Kristen Zillmer’s previous school record of 2:50.41 that was set in 2014. Even more impressive, Hickey’s time ranks 20th in the U.S. this season (according to Track & Field News).

Female Field
Alexis Roberson, Jr., Southern Illinois (Jefferson City, Mo.)
Alexis Roberson recorded a personal-best in the weight throw for the second time in three meets this season to win the event at the John Gartland Invitational, hosted by Indiana State. Roberson threw 69’-7” (21.21m) to not only win the event but she also moved up to No. 7 on SIU’s all-time list, passing Sasha Leeth. The Jefferson City, Mo. native is currently ranked No. 11 in the NCAA in the event.
