EVANSVILLE, IN  – No. 6 Drake received a golden goal in the 104th minute of action in the second overtime, as the Bulldogs knocked off third seeded Valparaiso 2-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament quarterfinals Wednesday. 

Drake's Leroy Enzugusi scored the first goal of the game in the third minute, netting his eighth goal of the season which ranks second in the MVC.

Valparaiso received the equalizer in the 36th minute when Tyler Curylo found the back of the net thanks to an assist from Adan Garcia.  

Senior Steven Enna ended the game with a goal from six yards out, receiving his second game-winning goal of the season. 

The win delivers Drake to the MVC semifinals for the 14th time overall.

Drake advances to take on second seeded Loyola on Friday in the first semifinal of the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Championship at 3:00 PM. The Bulldogs and Ramblers faced each other back on September 22 as the two teams played to a 1-1 draw. 

Valpo ends its season at 5-8-4 with the loss snapping a six-match unbeaten streak.
