Central Arkansas, fresh off its second-straight MVC Men's Soccer Championship title, is making its second-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament,. The Bears (8-5-4) will head to Colorado to take on Air Force (15-4), on Thursday, Nov. 15, at a time yet to be announced. The winner of the Central Arkansas/Air Force match will meet 15th-seeded Denver in the second round in Denver on Saturday, Nov. 17.
Air Force, who came up short of an automatic berth at the WAC Tournament, finished with a program-high 15 wins on the season, including a perfect 9-0 season when playing at home.
Air Force and Central Arkansas met once before in Conway, Arkansas, where the Falcons fell, 0-1, in 2007.
The men's NCAA Division I Tournament is a field of 48, with the top 16 teams receiving a bye in the first round of play. The 2018 College Cup (Final Four) will take place at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara, California on December 7 and 9th.
