MVC Offensive Player of the Week
Kelsey Yarrow, Sr., M, UNI (Ankeny, Iowa)
Kelsey Yarrow has scored 5 goals this season, including 3 goals against Viterbo and Evansville. Yarrow had the first and third goals against Evansville, with one unassisted. This season, Yarrow has 2 game-winning goals and leads UNI with 36 shot attempts.
MVC Defensive Player of the Week
Madison Laudeman, Jr., D, Loyola (Chesterfield, Mo.)
Loyola junior Madison Laudeman featured for a full 90 minutes along the backline as the Ramblers notched a 1-0 shutout victory over Drake on Saturday evening at Loyola Soccer Park. The victory gave Loyola its second clean sheet in as many games. Bolstered by Laudeman’s efforts, the Ramblers have not allowed an opposing team to score in 195 consecutive minutes of play.
MVC Newcomer of the Week
Aly Kilburg, Fr., D/MF, Loyola (Park Ridge, Ill.)
Loyola freshman Aly Kilburg turned in a full shift along the Rambler backline in a 1-0 blanking of Drake on Saturday night at Loyola Soccer Park. Kilburg, who has now started in four straight contests, helped the Maroon & Gold pick up their second-straight shutout and third overall clean sheet of the 2018 campaign. Loyola has now held opposing teams scoreless for 195 consecutive minutes of game action.
