Swimmer of the Week
Kierston Farley-Sepe, Junior, Illinois State (Milwaukee, WI)
Farley-Sepe had a victorious return to the water over the weekend in a double dual against Southern Illinois and Illinois. Farley-Sepe aided the Redbird relay team in taking second place in the 200-yard medley relay team, as she swam a season-best split of 24.91, for a final relay time of 1:47.80. Farley-Sepe also captured two first-place individual titles in the 200-yard fly (2:04.71) and the 100-yard freestyle (53.83). For her final event of the meet, Farley-Sepe swam the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:33.97, taking third place out of 11 athletes.
 
Diver of the Week
Caroline Lecoeur, Sophomore, Illinois State (Lyons, France)
In the first double dual meet for the Redbirds, Leceour had a score of 239.05 in the 1-meter diving event out of 15 athletes, placing fifth overall for the event. Leceour’s next event was the 3-meter diving event, where she placed fifth out of 12 athletes with a score of 242.60. Her performances were the top scores among all Redbirds that competed in diving events.
